Low Cost Community Counseling Center
We Specialize in psychological support for a variety of issues including: Marriage Counseling, Substance Abuse, Child And Teen, Depression Anxiety, and Behavior Problems. Individual or group counseling is available as needed. We can also accommodate court ordered clients (DCFS, probation, parole, etc.) including individuals needing to participate in domestic violence or parenting classes. East San Gabriel Valley Coalition for the Homeless
ESGVCH is a non-profit 501c3 charitable organization operated under a voluntary board of directors to directly aid people experiencing homelessness. ESGVCH believes that we are all called to turn attention beyond themselves to assist those who suffered especially the poor, the hungry, and the homeless. ESGVCH strives to bring hope and restore dignity by: Providing shelter, alleviating hunger, assisting with basic daily needs, assisting to regain housing, raising community awareness, and working collaboratively with others to end hunger and homelessness. ESGVCH has four programs:
- The Emergency Assistance Center (EAC) where emergency assistance is provided to all those experiencing homelessness. Assistance includes meals, lunches, bus tokens, foothill transit passes, hygiene materials, showers, clothing, and referrals;
- the Transitional Housing Program (THP) where ESGVCH leases two rental units where families can stay temporarily enabling them to conserve resources so they can transition back into permanent housing;
- the Winter Shelter Program (WSP) where night-time shelter is provided for persons with nowhere to go. Up to 200 persons are admitted each night with over 1400 individuals and families sheltered during a winter season;
- The Health Outreach program provides nurses and licensed dentists to assist clients of the Winter Shelter Program.
