Join this virtual institute to examine the connection between justice work and equity work and how community colleges can help individuals impacted by the justice system. We will investigate the methods used by various institutions to successfully bridge the gaps in equity among marginalized students. We will also discuss programs and partnerships that are working on behalf of those affected by the justice system by making higher education accessible to those currently and formerly incarcerated, providing opportunities for careers, and offering alternatives to the justice system for students who have been adjudicated.
