What Counts for FLEX?
Per Title 5, FLEX activities must:

be non-compensated
-
be above and beyond regular contractual duties, and
-
take place outside of normally scheduled hours/class
Faculty are encouraged to review which activities are acceptable for FLEX by clicking on the appropriate links below before completing and/or submitting activities.

If you would like to add an item to either the “All Faculty” or a “Department” list, the following must be done prior to engaging in the activity:
- All Faculty List – submit a official request in writing to the FLEX coordinator for the FLEX committee to consider
- Department Lists – seek approval for activities at an official department meeting and if approved, forward the request and minutes to the FLEX Coordinator for the FLEX Committee to consider
