WHAT: Rio Hondo College will host a Cash 4 College financial aid overview and workshop for students and their families, including free assistance with the 2018-19 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and California Dream Act application.
The event will include an opportunity drawing for a scholarship.
WHEN: Saturday, Feb. 3 / Overview: 9:00AM / Workshop: 9:30AM to 1:00PM
WHERE: Rio Hondo College Rio Café, 3600 Workman Mill Road, Whittier
DETAILS: Those attending should bring the following documents, as appropriate to their individual situation: driver’s license, social security number, alien registration number, individual taxpayer identification number 2016 income information (including tax forms, W-2 and bank statements), and a list of colleges that students are interested in attending.
The event is hosted by the Los Angeles California Student Opportunity and Access Program (Cal-SOAP) Consortium, Rio Hondo College Office of Outreach and Educational Partnerships, Rio Hondo College Financial Aid Office and Assembly Majority Leader Ian Calderon.
Parking for the workshop is free.
