WHAT: Rio Hondo College will hold a week of events to support its undocumented student population, featuring social events, a fundraiser promoting legal protections, political activities, a family night, personal talks by undocumented students and a walk/run.

DETAILS: Events will be held as follows:
- Monday, Oct.14: A mixer will seek to raise funds for scholarships and students seeking to renew federal protections against deportation.
- Tuesday, Oct. 15: Students, families and friends will sign postcards urging legislators to pursue a solution for undocumented students.
- Wednesday, Oct. 16: UndocuFamily Night will include workshops and a motivational speech.
- Thursday, Oct. 17: Students will discuss topics ranging from identity, social justice and activism, to personal development and mental health.
- Friday, Oct. 18: The inaugural UndocuRio Walk/Run will raise funds for scholarships and students seeking to renew federal deportation protections.
