Read Across America
About
Read Across America, sponsored by the National Education Association, is an annual event that promotes reading to students of all ages and which takes place this year on March 2nd every year. For the sixth year in a row, RHC Library will sponsor an annual Read Across America “poster” project to showcase RHC’s love of books and reading!
How to participate (2025)
All students, faculty, staff, and administrators are welcome to participate. Here’s how:
- Choose a book that is a favorite or is important to you. This does not have to be a book you are currently reading. It only has to be a book you have once read. Often, people select a book from their childhood.
- Please fill out the form at https://gorio.page/raa2025 before the end of the Fall 2024 semester to arrange to have your photo taken in January.
If you have questions, please email Dean of Library Mike Garabedian at mgarabedian@riohondo.edu. The deadline to submit your Read Across America form is Friday, December 6, 2025.
