About Hire UP

Hire UP is a pilot program that provides stipends to eligible formerly incarcerated students, CalWORKs recipients, or former foster youth to help them meet the true cost of college attendance and gain clear access to credential programs and the workforce needed to enter, participate, and succeed in California’s economy.
