Vote-By-Mail Drop Box
Río Hondo College (RHC) has collaborated with the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk’s Office to serve as an official site for a 24-hour Vote By Mail (VBM) Drop Box. RHC’s drop box is located in Parking Lot 2 of the main campus, directly across from the Parking/Security Booth. As part of the Voting Solutions for All People (VSAP) Program, Los Angeles County residents may drop off their ballots at multiple locations throughout the County, including Lot 2.
Ballots can be dropped off at this location between now and Tuesday’s November 5, 2024 General Election. The College’s main campus is located at 3600 Workman Mill Road in North Whittier. Los Angeles County voters have 24-hour access to this drop box. Note that only Los Angeles County ballots can be dropped off at this drop off. Any ballots from other counties must be dropped off at the county where the owner of the ballot is registered.
Vote Center
Río Hondo College (RHC) has collaborated with the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk’s Office to co-host a four-day Vote Center on the main campus for the Fall 2024 General Election. The vote center will be located in the old Board Room (Room “A-102”), which is located on the first floor of the Administration or “A” Building. This four-day center will open on Saturday, November 2 and will remain open Sunday, November 3, Monday, November 4, and Tuesday, November 5. Operating hours on November 2, 3, and 4 are 10am to 7pm and on Tuesday, November 5, the Center will be open from 7am to 8pm.
