YOUTH EMPOWERMENT STRATEGIES FOR SUCCESS (YESS-ILP) 

The YESS-ILP statewide program is funded through the Foundation for California Community Colleges and is committed to provide current and former foster youth ages 16-24 with:

                • life-skills training with an emphasis on
                  • higher education options
                  • employment/career options
                  • financial literacy
                  • daily living skills

YESS aims to empower current and former foster/probation youth to transition successfully to self-sufficiency and adulthood. Classes are provided out in the community and on campus.
