What is articulation?
Course Articulation is the process of developing a formal, written agreement that identifies courses (or sequences of courses) on a “sending” campus that are comparable to, or acceptable in lieu of, specific course requirements at a “receiving” campus.
To facilitate the university transfer process, articulation can be established course-to-course, for major requirements, and/or for general education. Articulation agreements may be unilateral or bilateral, depending on what is agreed upon by the sending and receiving institutions.
Rio Hondo College has articulation agreements with California State University, University of California, and some private and out-of-state institutions.
