Assemblages promote the academic work of Rio Hondo undergraduate scholars with the aim of strengthening participants’ confidence as members of a community of scholars. Academic conferences are unusual at community colleges, but we are committed to helping undergraduates envision themselves as scholars and develop academic professionalism while sustaining mentoring relationships between themselves and faculty.
