Program Description and Fees

  • About
    • The Rio Hondo College Child Development Center Pre-School Laboratory is an educational preschool program with full-time enrollment.
    • Drop off and pick up parking is available directly at the Child Development Center.
  • Enrollment
    • Enrollment is available to Rio Hondo students, faculty/staff and local community.
    • Our program enrolls children ages 2 years  – entry into Kindergarten.
      • Three year olds must be three by September 1st for subsidized care eligibility.
    • Enrollment is ongoing throughout the year
    • NOTE: Children are not required to be fully toilet trained to enroll
  • Hours
  • Nutrition Program
    • The Center is part of the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). We provide “nutritious foods that contribute to the wellness, healthy growth, and development of young children.” (CACFP). Children are provided breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack.
    • There is a full kitchen on site
  • Scheduling Options
    • Monday through Friday
  • Rates
    Schedule  M-F
    Rate $237.50 per week
    (invoiced per month)
    • Full and partial state fee assistance is available to those who meet family size, need and income requirements.  Rio Hondo College CDC does not offer any credits for holidays, sick days or vacation days.
