The Behavioral and Social Sciences division provides academic and vocational programs that prepare students to examine the relationship between themselves and society while in pursuit of their educational and career goals. Employing equity-minded teaching strategies, faculty emphasize diversity and inclusion, in all possible forms, using a social justice lens. Students gain critical thinking and research skills, social responsibility, and discipline-specific knowledge. The division seeks to encourage lifelong learning, collaboration, and agency.
