The Degree in Homeland Security prepares students who are interested in criminal justice that are focusing on terrorism and disaster relief. Professions in Homeland Security target preventing terrorism and enhancing U.S. security. Students will learn how to enforce and administer U.S. laws; will develop skills to enhance their abilities to complete industry-recognized third-party Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) certification courses. Additionally, it can serve as the foundation to further pursue a Bachelor’s or Master’s level of education.
While the program is designed for First Responders, government officials, emergency managers or any public safety personnel; it can also be a great resource to the general public who may be interested in the program as it provides important knowledge to those concerned with safeguarding themselves, their homes, their families, their communities, and the nation.
