For the Spring semester, the application period is normally September 1–15.

Do I need to have an RHC student ID# before I apply?
Yes, all applicants must apply to RHC before submitting their application and official transcripts.

Do I need a Social Security Number (SSN) for admission into the nursing program?
Yes, all students must have an SSN or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) to sit for the state board examination.

Do I need a high school diploma?
Yes, a high school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate is required if you have not completed your Associates, Bachelors, or Masters Degree. Foreign school transcripts must be evaluated by an approved transcript evaluation service.

Can I personally mail or hand deliver my sealed official transcripts to Admissions and Records?
No, students must request official transcripts from all colleges or educational institutions be sent directly to the Admissions Office. Students should contact the Admissions Office to ensure receipt of the transcripts. (Note: Transcripts from RHC do not need to be requested.)

Do I need to see a counselor before applying to the nursing program?
Students are not required to see a counselor but can if they choose. Students are strongly recommended to attend one of the Nursing Information Sessions before making a counseling appointment.

Yes, transfer students are accepted if space is available and they must submit all necessary documentation with their application.
