EMEC is about 4.5 miles north of Río Hondo College and is located across from El Monte High School.
Directions from Río Hondo College to the El Monte Education Center (EMEC)
- Exit campus using West Drive to College Drive (northwest of the library) and then to Workman Mill Road and make a right turn.
- Continue straight onto Peck Road. (Workman Mill Road turns to the right.)
- Continue on Peck Road to Michael Hunt Drive, where Peck Road becomes Durfee Avenue.
- Continue straight on Durfee Avenue to Rush Street and make a left turn.
- Continue on Rush Street to Tyler Avenue and make a right turn.
- Continue straight on Tyler Avenue.
- As you pass Garvey Avenue, EMEC is just past Church’s Chicken on the left.
