ABOUT HEALTH SERVICES STAFF: ALFRED FORREST, M.D; ROBERT ITATANI, PH.D; ALEXANDER VARGA, M.D; ROSE SAKAMOTO, R.N., N.P.; MARY ALICE GROPPELL, R.N.; ELLEN PAIK, R.N., N.P.; JOY SHERWOOD, R.N,; VIRA WU, R.N., N.P., ANZA SMITH, R.N.; AND SHARON TAN, R.N., N.P., MARIA ORDAZ, STUDENT SERVICES ASSISTANT. 

The Student Health Office Program is designed to assist the student as a total person: physical, mental and emotional. Our major goals are (1) to help students achieve and maintain total health so they may accomplish academic/vocational goals and (2) to educate students to take responsibility for their own health. The Student Health Center staff includes registered nurses, medical doctors, psychologists, psychology interns, and allied health staff that are trained to assist students who have medical, health and life problems. 

STUDENT HEALTH CENTER HOURS:

The Student Health Center hours are 
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., 
Wednesday 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. 
Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

First Summer Session Office Hours
Monday through Thursday
8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
(FRIDAY CLOSED)

Second Summer Session and Intercession Office Hours
Monday through Thursday
8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.; no evening hours
(FRIDAY CLOSED)

PHYSICIAN AND NURSE PRACTITIONER HOURS:
Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Friday from 8:30a.m.  to 4:00 p.m.
(NO DOCTOR ON MONDAY & THURSDAY)

SUMMER PHYSICIAN AND NURSE PRACTITIONER HOURS:
Monday 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Tuesday 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

LUNCH HOURS DURING THE SEMESTER:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.
Wednesday from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.
