After your application is complete be sure to monitor both your Rio Hondo College student email and your Financial Aid tab through your AccessRio Portal.
Once Rio Hondo has your application (generally about 2 weeks for FAFSA students and 3-4 weeks for Dream Act students) all of your financial aid requirements should show up in your student portal. All students who wish to receive aid must accept the Terms & Conditions each academic year.
Any requested documentation or other financial aid requirements will be found in the student’s financial aid tab. No funds can be disbursed until all documents have been turned in to and processed by the Office of Financial Aid.
