This is a state-of-the-art adaptive computer technology center for registered Rio Hondo Disabled students only. The High Tech Computer lab (HTC) is open the following hours:

Rio Hondo DSP&S provides technological assistance for those individuals in need of special adaptive software and equipment.  A DSP&S student who wishes to use the computers in the High Tech Lab must sign a Policies and Procedures contract before using the computers. 

The High Tech Center provides the following services and programs:

Adaptive Support

• Enlarged text for low vision

• Talking text for blind and learning disabled students

• Adaptive keyboards for physically disabled students

• Computer assisted instruction also available in reading, writing, spelling and mathematics
