The DSP&S program is designed to provide students with verified
disabilities instructional and student support services for the
purpose of providing equal access to the programs and activities
offered at Rio Hondo College. The program provides a wide variety of
classroom accommodations, adaptive hardware and software,
counseling, disability assessment and student advocacy and
intervention assistance. Student participation in DSP&S is voluntary
and while not all students with disabilities elect to participate in
the program they still retain the right to have their disability
related needs addressed in an educational setting. The program
office is located in room SS-330 and welcomes inquiries and the
cooperation of college staff and faculty as we work in consortium to
address the needs of our diverse disabled student populations.
Please stop by or call the office at (562) 908-3420 and speak to one
of the DSP&S staff members.
