This orientation is for students who will be using Canvas–either in a web-enhanced, hybrid, online-remote or online course. If you are new to Canvas, or if you’d like a refresher course, this online orientation is for you. When you complete this orientation you will be able to:
- assess your readiness for an online course
- explain what skills are needed to succeed in an online course
- log into your course
- determine if your computer is Canvas-ready
- prepare your computer to ensure that Canvas will work properly
- explain what Canvas software is and does
- use the different tools in Canvas software
- demonstrate that you have read and understood the orientation material
